How'd I do?

Re: How'd I do?
SGS is not a reliable grading company in my opinion.
I learned the hard way also. Stick with NGC or PCGS and you'll be fine. The coin has been selling for close to $20, so you did good, but be care ful of mom and pop grading companies. |
Re: How'd I do?
Got it.
I bought the coin for my daughter who was born in 2004. I'm going to put it away for her. |

Re: How'd I do?
You did good. You can't go wrong on a small purchase with an 'off the wall' grading company. But I'm with tallbasssguy on sticking with PCGS, NGC. for major buys, when time comes to sell there will be no arguments over the grade of the coin. There is no end to the amount of alphabet soup grading co's popping up.

Re: How'd I do?
Look it costs about $20 just for the holder & grading - so the coin was free. As for the grading companies RIGHT now PCGS is #1; NGC is #2; ANACS is #3
and IMVHO SGS is #4 - so don't worry you did not buy a $100,000.00 MS67 gold What-You-Might-Call-It and you did FANTASTICAL! banchabanchabancha:banana::banana::5_1_120::10_1_2 0: Best wishes, By the wayside; PCGS is losing business in the worst economy in 100 years says Greenspan - who caused it! - so they now (like NGC) have a way not to send it back in a body bag (known as a NO GRADE and nothing done for the BIG BUCKS!) ANACS always does it right. |
Re: How'd I do?
SGS is a fraud. They grade their coins and sell under a different company name. It's not a $20 grading value. Silver is silver, though. This seller likely bought that monkey off ebay and is reselling.
